SchGirl was late to work and failed to inform me. She talked to me quietly after she arrived saying how appreciative she is of me helping her AM start off. She explained some things are going on at home aka sick grandma and her sleep deprived body & mind. Encouraged her to look after herself, physically and mentally.
I had a good shift in the end. Felt a bit more empowered after the little chat with SGirl. Canopy’s guest were constant so it was a busy day but good. Grateful for the free lunch of fried rice, scrambled egg with sausage & crabstick and breaded chicken.
